May’s character trait is CONFIDENCE.

Confidence is a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities.

“Confidence is not, ‘They will like me’. Confidence instead is, ‘I’ll be fine if they don’t’.”

– Christina Grimmie

Ms. Cathrine and the grade 1s explained the meaning of confidence for students to understand. Great job grade 1s!

On Friday, May 3rd, Mrs. MacBean organized the Jump Rope for Heart kick-off assembly. A guest speaker came from the Heart and Stroke Foundation to inform students about the upcoming Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser.

Prestige School’s fundraising goal is $600! “If Prestige School raises $600, then the class that raised the most will receive an ice cream treat.”

Students have received pledge forms and need to collect money by Thursday, May 23rd. The Jump Rope for Heart event will take place on Friday, May 24th.

Let’s make this year our best year in raising funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation!
