THANKSGIVING EVENTS
Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Prestige School has some exciting things planned. Firstly, the last day for students to drop off non-perishable food items at the front of the school is next Friday, October 11th. The items will then be dropped off at our local fire station to feed those in need this Thanksgiving season. Thank you in advance for all those who donated to our annual food drive.
On Friday, October 11th, Ms. Vanessa will be holding her annual Canadian Thanksgiving celebration. This event offers our international students an opportunity to experience and learn about this Canadian holiday and enjoy some of our traditional thanksgiving foods, such as pumpkin pie! All high schoolers will be invited to this celebration. Enjoy!
Also, just a reminder that Prestige School will be closed on Monday, October 14th for Thanksgiving. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 19th.

Mr. Quick and the elementary students took part in a fun challenge during their physical education classes. Mr. Quick wanted to see which grade could hold the high plank position the longest! All students took this challenge very seriously, even working together during recess to try and beat the record!
Mr. Quick held an assembly on Monday, September 30th to reveal which grade won the challenge. The winners were …. GRADE 4! Half the class was able to hold this position for a whopping 5 minutes, 59 seconds and 61 milliseconds!
Great work grade 4s!
There are three trips coming up in the month of October. They are as follows:

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS
This week, Prestige School held parent-teacher interviews in the gymnasium in the mornings and evenings of October 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
We hope that parents and guardians were able to learn more about class programs, student progress and had any questions answered.
In order to keep up to date with your child’s homework, assignments and other news, please make sure to check Google Classroom on a regular basis.
Just a reminder to parents and students that this year’s talent show will be held in the gymnasium at 2:30pm on Friday, October 18th.
