CRAZY HAIR DAY!

Tuesday, February 11th was Crazy Hair Day at Prestige School! It was held in order to raise money for our MS Read-a-thon Fundraiser. Each student brought in $2 in order to rock a crazy do for the day. Students had the opportunity to go wild and creative with their hair, and they sure did not disappoint! The school was filled with multi-coloured hair decorated with ornaments, balloons, soccer balls, flowers, rainbows and cupcakes to name a few! An assembly was held in order to determine the winners of this year’s crazy hair contest. It was a very tough decision, but the teachers were able to pick this year’s winners:

Runner-ups: Liza (gr. 5) and Martin (gr. 5)

Winner: Tom (gr. 5)

The above winners got very creative with their hair designed as a campfire, a bird cage and a kayaker swimming down a river!

Congratulations students, and thank you to all the students and teachers who participated and raised money for this great cause.

We cannot wait until next yearÆs Crazy Hair Day!

Great job students!

DECA BAKE SALE!

On both Wednesday, February 12th and Thursday, February 13th, DECA students, along with their chapter supervisor, Ms. Yana, held bake sales for Valentine’s Day. DECA students and volunteers from other grades were busy selling delicious treats. All students enjoyed these treats just in time for Valentines Day! Thank you to the parents/ guardians and students who contributed to the bake sale by bringing in baked goods and snacks. It is very much appreciated!

Thank you!
