This Tuesday, October 25th, was October’s character education assembly. This month focused on teamwork. Many of the students have displayed teamwork this month, but some have portrayed noticeably more. The students who received this month’s certificate are:

November’s character trait is KINDNESS, which means being considerate, courteous, helpful, and understanding of others.

Ms. Jennifer and the grade 6s connected November’s character trait, KINDNESS, to their novel study. Wonder’s theme is “Choose Kindness,” students gave examples of kindness from the book. Great work!


Monday, November 7th is this year’s picture day. Practice your smiles and dress in full school uniform.


This year’s Talent Show is next Thursday, November 10 at 2 p.m. Students are excited to show off their talent to parents IN PERSON this year!


Prestige students look forward to each month’s field trips. Students had fun this month exploring the farm and learning about sport adaptations for differently abled people. Check out our galleries for more pictures.

Kindergarten to grade 2 students went to Downey’s Farm on Thursday, October 27th.

Grades 3 to 5 students went to Variety Village on Thursday, October 27th.

Grades 6 to 8 students went to Variety Village on Thursday, October 21st.


Prestige students had fun dressing up and celebrating Halloween this year. Students and teachers were creative with their costumes and had fun during the afternoon in their homerooms. Check out our gallery for more pictures.

The grade 8 Halloween bake sale was a SUCCESS! All proceeds will go towards prom. Thank you to all the grade 8 parents and students for their contributions to the bake sale. Thank you to Mr. Ile for helping and to Ms. Catherine for planning. Thank you to all students that purchased food.


Students in grades 7 and 8 participated in the SSAF elementary soccer tournament on Wednesday, November 2nd. Students played their best and had fun! Thank you to Ms. Daria for coaching our team and accompanying them to the tournament.
