COMPETITIONS
Prestige students have been busy writing competitions over these last two weeks.
Students in grades 5 to 8 wrote the Beaver Computing Competition during their computer classes.
On Wednesday, November 9th, students in DECA wrote the Regional Part 1 Competition at school. DECA students will be writing the Regional Part 2 Competition on Sunday, November 27th in Whitby.
On Wednesday, November 16th, students in grades 8 to 12 wrote the Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests.
Prestige School is proud of all our students that have taken the challenge to write these competitions. Good luck to you all!
HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
It’s the season of giving and Prestige School will be collecting unwrapped, new toys for the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive. The toy drive will run from December 1st to 22nd. During this time, please bring your unwrapped, new toy donations to the kindergarten classroom to either Ms. Kristen or Ms. Veronica.
Wishful items include development toys (Fisher Price, Baby Einstein, Playskool, Leap Frog), books, Lego, Playdough, creative/craft supplies, puzzles, and gift cards (Walmart, Indigo).
PICTURE DAY
Students have received their photo proofs from picture day. Orders are due Thursday, November 24th.
Photo retakes and sibling photos are on Monday, December 5th.
