CHARACTER EDUCATION

This Tuesday, November 22nd, was November’s character education assembly. This month focused on kindness. Many of the students have been kind this month, but some have been noticeably more. The students who received this month’s certificate are:

JK: Carmen T.

SK: Gabriel K.

Gr. 1: Abigail S. and Jolin Z.

Gr. 2: Max R.

Gr. 3: Emma B.

Gr. 4: Emily I.

Gr. 5: Tamara R.

Gr. 6: Anna M.

Gr. 7: Ariel A.

Gr. 8: Andrei T.

December’s character trait is GRATITUDE, which is the quality of being thankful and the readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

Ms. Ivana and the grade 4s performed a skit to show what gratitude means. Good work!

FIELD TRIPS

On Friday, November 25th, students in grades 3 – 8 went to the Museum of Illusions to explore numerous hand on illusions. Students had fun figuring out the illusions and puzzles. Check out our gallery for more pictures.

On Thursday, December 1st, students in KG to grade 2 went to Young People’s Theatre and watched a production of Snow White. Students had fun!

HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

It’s the season of giving and Prestige School will be collecting unwrapped, new toys for the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive. The toy drive will run from December 1st to 22nd. During this time, please bring your unwrapped, new toy donations to the kindergarten classroom to either Ms. Kristen or Ms. Veronica.

Wishful items include development toys (Fisher Price, Baby Einstein, Playskool, Leap Frog), books, Lego, Playdough, creative/craft supplies, puzzles, and gift cards (Walmart, Indigo).

PICTURE DAY

Did you miss picture day? Do you wish your picture was better? Would you love to have a professional picture with your sibling(s)? Your wish has come true!

Monday, December 5th is the day for picture retakes and sibling photos. Make sure to be in full school uniform and bring your best smile.

WINTER CONCERT

Save the date!

Prestige School will have their annual winter concert on Friday, December 16th at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Prestige School. This year students will be performing The Nutcracker.

Both shows will be the same performance. KG to grade 3 parents are to attend the 11 a.m. show. Grade 4 to 8 parents are to attend the 2 p.m. show. Parents must attend the time slot assigned to them, in order to accommodate everyone. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. An email with more details will be sent out.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL

Attention all grade 8 and high school students! If you’re interested in having a role in the student council then email Ms. Yana.
