FAMILY DAY LONG WEEKEND

Prestige School is closed Friday, February 17th and Monday, February 20th for the Family Day long weekend.

Enjoy your extra long weekend with your families.

DECA

On February 13th and 14th, Prestige School DECA members with their Head DECA Advisor, Ms. Yana, took part in the Ontario DECA Provincials at the Toronto Sheraton Centre. Ms. Yana was judging the Personal Financial Literacy category.

Alexander, Daniel, Beatrice (gr. 10), and Sheina (gr. 11) took part in the LDA competition and received Certificates of Achievement from the School of Accounting and Finance by University of Waterloo. This year, Ontario DECA had leaders from CPA, University of Waterloo, Entrepreneur First, Localcoin and TikTok.

The below students were competing at the provincial level:

Polina (gr. 12) was competing in the Marketing Communication Series category.

Max (gr. 12) was competing in the Apparel and Accessories Marketing category.

Gleb (gr. 9) was competing in the Principles of Marketing category.

Anna (gr. 10) was competing in the Restaurant and Food Service Management category and received a medal. Amazing work Anna!

Students did an amazing job representing Prestige School. Thank you Ms. Yana for coaching our students and thank you to parents for their support.

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL

Our high school boys basketball team has been giving it their best during the SSAF basketball tournament. Four games down, two to go. Thank you Mr. Ben for coaching our team.

100TH DAY OF SCHOOL

Thursday, February 16th, was the 100th Day of School! Students in KG to grade 3 celebrated in the gymnasium by making a craft, completing the 100 cups stacking challenge, a 100 point target challenge, and students presented their 100th Day collections. Thank you to Mrs. Kristen, Ms. Veronica, Ms. Irina, Mrs. MacBean, and Ms. Dana for planning a fun party. Check out our gallery for more pictures.
