Prestige School offers after school programs in both the Toronto and Richmond Hill campuses. Programs run from 3:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Students will get help with their homework preparation as well as tutoring in a variety of school subjects. They will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs.
Art Club
Younger students enrolled in this club will delve into crafty projects involving glue, glitter, paint, and clay. Older students will dabble in clay sculpting, painting, and sketching techniques. Club members can look forward to learning and applying new techniques each and every week.
Mathematics Club
This weekly workout for the mind encourages students to strengthen their math skills, and improve their abilities to grasp mathematical concepts with ease. Students of math club also prepare for province-wide competitions such as the Gauss Math Contest held annually.
Computer Club
As an extension to computer studies taken during the regular school day, computer club offers students a chance to explore more deeply the topics of computer animation and digital art. Younger students develop problem solving and logic skills through various computer games, while familiarizing themselves with computer hardware such as the mouse and keyboard.
Basketball Club
Basketball club gives students the opportunity to get active and participate in a team sport. Students gain the basic skills and learn the rules of this originally Canadian sport, while training for friendly games with other schools.
Soccer Club
Students will develop their coordination through drills and exercises, and learn the rules of the game through house-league play. Students will also prepare for soccer tournaments with other schools.
Tennis Club
Tennis club gives young students the opportunity to learn a new sport. Experienced tennis players are able to further develop their coordination through drills and exercises.
Science Club
As an extension to science classes taken during the regular school day, science club offers students a chance to explore more deeply various aspects of the science curriculum. Students participate in hands on experiments that allow them to experience real world application of science.
