CHARACTER EDUCATION
This Tuesday, March 25th was March’s character education assembly. This month focused on initiative. Many of the students have shown initiative this month, but some have been noticeably more. The students who received this month’s certificate are:

April’s character trait is ENTHUSIASM, which is the ability to bring life and excitement to different situations. Ms. Michelle, Ms. Katrina, Ms. Nana and the KGs sang an action song to motivate the school to have enthusiasm everyday. Great work!
CITY HALL TRIP
On Friday, March 21st, Mrs. Amanda and the gr. 4s toured City Hall for social studies. Students went into the chamber where the city officials meet to discuss issues. They also saw the Mayor’s lounge and met a staff member of the Mayor. Everyone had fun seeing where the municipal government works!

DOG TALES RESCUE AND SANCTUARY
On Thursday, March 27th, various students from KG to grade 9 went to Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary to meet some of the animals on the farm, and deliver the donation cheque of $3287. Amazing work Prestige School! Thank you to everyone that purchased treats, and participated in the themed casual days. The animals at Dog Tales will benefit from your donations. Thank you to Beatrice (gr. 12), Nikita (gr. 12), and Ms. Yana for organizing the fundraiser. A special thank you to Beatrice’s and Nikita’s parents are donating all the supplies for the hot chocolate sales. With their generous donations, Prestige School was able to have 100% of proceeds go towards Dog Tales.

Calling all future stars! Auditions for our Matilda end of year concert are happening April 2nd at lunch in the gym!
