CHARACTER EDUCATION

On Wednesday, April 30th, was April’s character education assembly. This month focused on enthusiasm. Many of the students have been enthusiastic this month, but some have been noticeably more. The students who received this month’s certificate are:

May’s character trait is CONFIDENCE, which is the means someone who acknowledges their own achievements and effort. Ms. Sabrina and the grade 2s performed a skit to show what confidence means. Great work!
EARTH DAY CLEAN UP

On Tuesday, April 22nd, Prestige students and teachers spent first period cleaning up our school yard and parking lot. Everyone did an amazing job. Let’s work together to keep our earth clean. Check out our gallery for more pictures.
SENATOR ANDERSON

Mrs. Amanda and the grade 4s are learning about Canadian government in social studies. On Monday, April 28th, the grade 4s had a special visitor from the Senate. Senator Anderson took the time to speak about her life as an Inuit and answer any questions students had about the Senate. Thank you to Mrs. Amanda for organizing a memorable event.
APRIL FIELD TRIP

At the end of April, Prestige students in grades 1 – 8 went to MakerKids to learn about coding. Students coded their own game and programmed a simple robot. They had fun learning! Check out our gallery for more pictures.
U16/20 TRACK AND FIELD

On Friday, May 2nd, students from grade 9 – 12 participated in the SSAF U16/20 track and field tournament. Students performed well and brought back medals! Congratulations to all our students. Prestige School is proud of you all!

INTERNATIONAL CAFE









On Thursday, May 1st, Prestige School hosted its annual International Café. Students toured nine different countries.
KG: Costa Rica
Grade 1: Kazakhstan
Grade 2: Italy
Grade 3: Spain
Grade 4: United Arab Emirates
Grade 5: Australia
Grade 6: Taiwan (Republic of China)
Grade 7: Romania
Grade 8: Sweden
