The Process
Five steps from first contact to first day.
Reach Out
Contact our admissions team by phone, email, or through the form on this page. Share a bit about your child — their current grade, their current school, and what you are hoping for. We will get back to you within one business day.
Tour a Campus
Visit our Toronto or Richmond Hill campus during school hours to see our small classes in action. You will meet our teachers, walk the building, and get a feel for the community. Tours run approximately 45–60 minutes.
Admissions Assessment
Your child spends a morning with our teachers in a series of lessons, games, and activities. A written assessment is completed during this time. We use this to understand their strengths, current level, and learning style — not to judge or reject.
Meet with the Principal
You and your child meet with our principal, Olga Margold, to review what we observed. We discuss your child's academic profile, any areas we can support or stretch, and how a Prestige School program would be tailored around them. Bring your child's most recent report card if available.
Enrol
If it's the right fit, we complete enrolment paperwork together. Students can begin at any point in the school year — we do not require September starts. Midyear transitions are common and handled with care.

Prestige School understands that the decision to change schools can happen at any time. We welcome enrolment in September and throughout the year. Many of our strongest students transferred mid-year and settled in within weeks.

Common admissions questions.
When can my child start?
We accept students throughout the school year at all grade levels, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. Midyear enrolment is common and well-supported at Prestige School.
What should we bring to the initial meeting?
A copy of your child's most recent report card is helpful — but not required. The admissions assessment itself gives us the information we need.
Is the admissions assessment pass/fail?
No. The assessment is a tool for understanding your child, not a gatekeeping test. It helps us identify where we can best support and challenge them and what a tailored academic plan should look like.
How long does the full process take?
Most families complete the process within one to two weeks. We work at your pace and can accommodate urgent timelines when needed.
Do you accept international students?
Yes. International students are welcome at Prestige School. Students studying for more than six months will need a Canadian study permit. Visit our International Students page for details.
