U12 COED SOCCER

Thank you to Mr. Luka and Ms. Stacy for accompanying out team.
REMEMBRANCE DAY

On Tuesday, November 11th, Prestige School honoured those who gave their lives in service to our country, and those who continue to serve today. Lest we forget.
Prestige students observed a moment of silence and listened to heartfelt Remembrance Day poems written and shared by Nicole (gr. 5), Uliana (gr. 5), Margaret (gr. 6), Julia (gr. 6), Michael (gr. 7), Eva (gr. 8), and Cleo (gr. 8). The poems were a beautiful tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Thank you to Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Brittney, and Ms. Vanessa for organizing this year’s assembly. Thank you to Ms. Tanya for the artwork in the gymnasium.
DECA

On Thursday, November 13th, Ms. Yana and the DECA team had their business lunch to wrap up the DECA Regional Level competitions and to celebrate their hard work. Thank you Ms. Yana for treating the team to lunch. Starting Tuesday, November 18th, Ms. Yana and the DECA team will begin their preparation for the Provincial Level Competitions.
Congratulations to the seven students who qualified for DECA Provincials based on their results:
Grade 10: Ariel
Grade 11: Nicolas, Ariella, Andrei
Grade 12: Richard, Gleb, Emre
Congratulations to Michael (gr. 9) and Alexia (gr. 10), who have advanced to the LDA at the Provincial Level and will attend the conference for further development.
Prestige School is proud of you all. Keep up the great work!
BULLY AWARENESS AND PREVENTION WEEK

This week is Bully Awareness and Prevention Week. On Monday, November 17th, students attended the kick-off assembly that Ms. Irina and Mr. Aurelian organized. They also provided homeroom teachers and students with bullying awareness activities. Each grade focused on topics that were age appropriate. Students will have productive and meaningful conversations this week. Thank you to Ms. Irina and Mr. Aurelian for taking your time to inform the school about bullying.
