HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR
On Thursday, February 8th, Prestige School celebrated Lunar New Year with treating our high school students to delicious Chinese food. Since it’s the year of the dragon, a dragon visited each class to bring good fortune to all our students and staff. Happy Lunar New Year!
DECA PROVINCIAL COMPETITION
On Friday, February 9th, Ms. Yana, Gleb (gr, 10), Alexandra, Alexander, Beatrice, Nikita, Jerry, Anna (gr. 11), and Sheina (gr. 12) participated in the DECA Provincial Competition. Students gave it their best. Alexander (gr. 11) received a medal in the Human Resources Management category. Congratulations!
Ms. Yana treated the DECA club to lunch and matching DECA shirts, since students did very well during the season. Amazing work everyone! Prestige School is proud of you all.
100th DAY OF SCHOOL
Students in KG to grade 3 celebrated the 100th day of school on Monday, February 12th. Mrs. Kristen planned a circuit of five different stations for students to enjoy. Thank you to Mrs. Kristen for organizing a fun morning. Thank you to Mrs. Kristen, Mrs. MacBean, Ms. Linda, Ms. Irina, and Ms. Michelle for running the stations. VALENTINE’S DAY FUN
On Wednesday, February 14th, Prestige students had fun celebrating Valentine’s Day. Thanks to the high school student council, students received candy grams from their friends and grades 4 – 8 students had fun activities in the gymnasium with a dance party. Thank you to Ms. Yana and the student council for organizing a fun day.
RAPTORS 905 FIELD TRIP
On Thursday, February 15th, students in grades 3 – 12 went to Paramount Fine Food Centre in Mississauga to watch a basketball game of the Raptors 905 versus the Greensboro Swarm. Students had fun cheering on the teams. Check out our gallery for more pictures.
