CHARACTER EDUCATION
Monday, February 26th, was February’s character education assembly. This month focused on integrity. Many of the students have shown integrity this month, but some have shown noticeably more. The students who received this month’s certificate are:

March’s character trait is ATTENTIVENESS, which is showing the worth of a person by giving full concentration to his or her words. Mrs. Kristen, Ms. Michelle and the KGs taught the school about attentiveness. Great work!
ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION
On Sunday, February 18th, Liel (gr. 3), Nicole (gr. 3), Veer (gr. 4), Michael (gr. 5), Anna (gr. 7), and Abigail (gr. 7) participated in the Royal Canadian Legion Youth Speech Competition. They all delivered their speeches wonderfully. Nicole (gr, 3) received 2nd place in the primary speech category and Anna (gr. 7) received 1st place in the intermediate speech category. Congratulations Nicole and Anna! Prestige School is proud of you all.
UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO COMPETITIONS
Prestige students in grade 8 – 12 wrote the Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests in November. Results are in and these students received certificates of distinction.

MESS FOR FUN
On Thursday, February 29th, students in KG to grade 2 built their own stuffed animals with Mess for Fun. Students had fun stuffing their animal and choosing a name for it. Students are excited to love and care for their new friends! Check out our Instagram and Facebook accounts for more pictures.
