GRADUATION CEREMONY AND PROM NIGHT
Prestige School is delighted to announce this year’s graduation ceremony for students in grades 8 and 12 will take place on Friday, June 21st at Bomond Restaurant. This year, grade 7 students are invited as well!
The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. To ensure ample time for photographs before the commencement, we kindly request that you and your child arrive by 6:00 p.m.
Family of the graduates are welcome to join for this special occasion. Graduates are allowed to bring up to four family members. To assist us in making adequate arrangements, we kindly ask that you RSVP indicating the number of guests that will be attending the graduation ceremony.
Following the graduation ceremony, there will be an hour (6:30 – 7:30 p.m.) of socializing and hors d’oeuvres. Graduates that do not want to attend prom night are encouraged to stay for the social hour to take pictures and enjoy food with friends and teachers. This option is $50 and includes hors d’oeuvres for the graduate and up to four family members.
Following the social hour, there will be prom night (7:30 – 11:30 p.m.), which will be a memorable experience featuring a gala dinner, a lively dance party with two DJs, a photo booth, and much more! Prom night costs $170 per person. Students are to dress in formal attire.

GRADUATION PHOTO PROOFS
Prestige students in SK, grade 8, and grade 12 have received their graduation photo proofs. Please make sure you submit your orders for your graduation pictures by Thursday, March 28th. Don’t miss out on great photos!
ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION
Prestige School students participate in the Royal Canadian Legion Youth Speech Competition every year. This year, three students are exceling with their speeches.
Primary Speech Competition:
Nicole (gr. 3) received 2nd place at the branch level, she received 1st place at the zone level, and she will be moving on to the district level primary speech competition. Congratulations and good luck at the district level!
Liel (gr. 3) received 3rd place at the branch level and she received 3rd place at the zone level. Congratulations!
Intermediate Speech Competition:
Anna (gr. 7) received 1st place at the branch level, she received 1st place at the zone level, and she will be moving on to the district level intermediate speech competition. Congratulations and good luck at the district level!

BADMINTON TRYOUTS
Prestige School will be participating in the SSAF badminton tournaments in April. The dates are Tuesday April 9th (gr. 5 – 6), Wednesday, April 10th (gr. 7 – 8), and Thursday, April 11th (gr. 9 – 12).
Students in grades 5 to 12 are encouraged to tryout next week, Mar. 25th – 28th, in the gymnasium. Grades 5 to 8 students can tryout from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and high school students can tryout from 11:35 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.
