April’s character trait is CONFIDENCE, which is a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities.

Ms. Irina and the grade 1s performed a dance and recited a poem to show what confidence means. Great work!

Do you know someone who is looking for a private school for their child? Look no further! Prestige School is the school for them!

SENATOR VISIT

Mrs. Amanda organized a visit with Senator Dawn Anderson for the grade 4 and 6 students on Wednesday, March 27th. The grade 6s met Senator Anderson on Zoom two years ago when they were learning about the Canadian government. Students were finally able to meet Senator Anderson in person. The grade 4s loved meeting a senator to wrap up their unit on the federal government in social studies. Senator Anderson spoke to the students about her life in the Northwest Territories and answered their questions about the Senate. Thank you Senator Anderson for taking the time to visit!

On Wednesday, April 3rd, grade 12 students participated in University of Waterloo’s Euclid Mathematics Contest.
